California Residents – Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights relating to your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”). “Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked directly or indirectly to a particular California resident. Please note that your identity will need to be verified in order to process any request received under the CCPA and certain of your Personal Information is not subject to access or deletion rights under the CCPA.

You have the right to ask us to delete any of your Personal Information collected by us, unless the CCPA recognizes an exception.
You have the right to request us to disclose to you, no more than twice in a 12-month period, the personal information about you that BIOS collects, uses, discloses, and sells during the preceding 12 months, which shall include the following:

  1. The categories of Personal Information we’ve collected about you.
  2. The sources from which we collected such information.
  3. The third parties with whom we’ve shared that Personal Information and to whom we’ve sold that Personal Information.
  4. The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that Personal Information.
  5. The specific pieces of Personal Information we’ve collected about you.
  6. You have the right to opt-out of BIOS sale of your personal information.

For purposes of exercising your above rights as a California resident, please note the following:

BIOS collects the following categories of Personal Information: Identifiers (such as name and government-issued identification information); personal information (such as contact and financial information); characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law; commercial information (such as transaction information); professional or employment information; internet or other electronic network activity information; geolocation data; audio, electronic or visual information (such as calls, emails and voicemails).

BIOS discloses the following categories of Personal Information for a business purpose: Identifiers (such as name and government-issued identification information); personal information (such as contact and financial information); characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law; commercial information (such as transaction information); professional or employment information; internet or other electronic network activity information; geolocation data; audio, electronic or visual information (such as calls, emails and voicemails).

BIOS has not sold any Personal Information subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 for monetary or other valuable consideration in the past 12 months.

You will not be discriminated against because you exercised your rights under this California Residents section of the Privacy Policy.
