Meet The Team Behind BIOS

Deepak Savadatti has started and scaled companies from scratch and managed large businesses with established worldwide teams. Prior to joining BIOS, Deepak was the Founder & CEO of RIFFIT, a digital therapeutics and EdTech company, and the Founder & President at Viome, a revolutionary health and wellness technology. He managed a $200M+ business unit for Infineon and launched the semiconductor industry’s first digital power conversion technology at Primarion.

Robert Soler is a co-founder of BIOS Lighting. Prior to his work at BIOS, his most prominent work was at Kennedy Space Center, where he was the Subject Matter Expert for NASA’s circadian lighting system to synchronize astronauts to a 24-hour cycle on board International Space Station. He received a fellowship from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and currently serves on the light advisory committee for the International WELL Building Standard.

As a career technology engineer with more than 25 years of experience, Eric brings both technological know-how and leadership experience to the BIOS team. Working on a variety of projects, from home irrigation controls to cardiac output monitoring, Eric is adept at utilizing technology to improve human functionality. His past companies include Hardie Irrigation, CardioDynamics International, Cardiotronics, EESE, and Signature Control Systems, Inc.

Patrick Kamphaus has led the BIOS Horticulture team since 2019. Before joining BIOS,he worked in commercial sales and operations for an ornamental greenhouse supplying big box garden centers. He also worked at commercial cultivation facilities during the launch of the Illinois medical cannabis program.
